Plan to Protect
RBC takes safeguarding seriously. We are committed to providing a safe and caring environment for all our members and visitors, and to safely recruiting and supporting all those with any responsibility related to children, young people and vulnerable adults within the church.
Everyone at RBC who is working with children and young people is required to complete the Plan to Protect training every 2 years, and screening which includes a police check. We ensure that health and safety policies, procedures and risk assessments are in place and that these are reviewed annually.
If you are interested in getting involved, teaching or helping with young children, youth or seniors, please fill out the Rosemount Bible Church Volunteer Application and submit to Katy Brereton, the Plan to Protect representative. Also, please read the Rosemount Bible Church Abuse Prevention Policies and Safe Practices Handbook, fill out the last page and submit it to Katy Brereton. Please email the Rosemount Bible Church Volunteer/Staff Reference Form to the 2 references which you have specified on your volunteer application. You will also have an interview by one of the church leadership to complete your screening process.
